Working with Mike and Tina to sell our home was a great experience for us. When we met Mike we were instantly put at ease and knew we had selected the right people to work with. Mike let us know step by step how things would go and Tina sent us all the necessary documents, had photos of the house taken and created the listing. Mike regularly kept us up to date and thoroughly reviewed the offers with us. In the end we sold our home for a great price and everything went very smoothly, exactly as Mike and Tina said it would.
Mike Benton was my family’s realtor and helped us buy a home in Crofton, MD. Through it all he was very communicative, attentive, and respectful towards our desires. Importantly, he helped us by connecting us with a colleague with a Virginia license when we decided to look at a few homes in Virginia (he has since completed his Virginia license). He also helped by mowing our new lawn after our closing since the home was empty for a few weeks. 5/5 stars!

Mike and Tina are incredible at what they do. They helped us find the right house during a time when there weren’t a lot of options, but they always had something new to show us! As first time home buyers we were very uneducated and asked lots of questions. They were always happy to answer and walked us through every step. They’re knowledgeable, experienced, and kind! We highly recommend Mike and Tina Benton.
I tried to make a purchase from Mike for three weeks for a truck he listed on marketplace. Initially he answered me briefly and when I told him I wanted to come purchase it, he stopped answering. I contacted him for two weeks trying to buy the truck. After two weeks of him not answering he then lowered the price $3000. Seeing as Mike is a realtor and post a lot on Facebook I can only suspect that he spends a lot of time on his phone and was receiving my messages. Desperately needing the truck I then reached out to him through text message, phone calling, emailing, and even going as forward as to call City Hall when googling his name revealed he’s the mayor of his town. Mike never answered me back after over three weeks of trying to purchase the truck, Mike sold it to someone else. I saw a review on yelp stating Mike was not found of out of town people and I have to wonder if this was the case and why he would not sell me the vehicle after trying for so long. If this is how he acts selling a vehicle I can’t imagine using him to sell my house or using him to purchase a house. Very unprofessional of someone who holds a public spotlight as mayor as well as a realtor.
Mike and his team were an unbelievable asset for my elderly parents selling their house. They went above and beyond to guide them through the process. Living out of state, we could not have done it without them!
